Consul General H.E. Yang Yundong met with vice chancellor of Sindh Madressatul Islam University Prof. Dr. Mujeeb-U-Ddin Sahrai Memon on March 19, 2024.

CG Yang noted that exchanges and cooperation in education sector is an important part of cultural and people-to-people exchanges between China and Pakistan, which has broad prospects and great potential. Karachi is rich in educational resources. Sindh Madressatul Islam University has a long history and strong academic atmosphere.Chinese Consulate General will continue to play the role as the bridge and effectively promote practical cooperation in teaching, research, personnel exchanges and Chinese language education, so as to bring the two peoples closer.

Prof. Dr. Mujeeb-U-Ddin Sahrai Memon introduced Sindh Madressatul Islam University, saying that the university hopes to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Chinese universities, expand Chinese learning channels for teachers and students, encourage and support more students to study in China, and contribute to further deepening China-Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperative partnership.
