Recently, members of the Karachi Editors Club (KEC), The News Lark, and Pakistan Print and Electronic Media Foundation(PPEMF) came to the Consulate General to convey condolences for the victims in the terrorist attack on the Dasu Hydropower Project. Consul General H.E. Yang Yundong met with them.

Media friends expressed deep condolences over the loss of lives, strongly condemned the despicable behavior of terrorists against Chinese nationals, and said that the Pakistan-China friendship has been time-tested and unbreakable, and the two peoples have always been heart-to-heart and shoulder-to-shoulder. No attempt to sabotage the Pakistan-China friendship and cooperation will ever succeed, and the terrorists will definitely be brought to justice.

CG Yang thanked the media friends for coming to express condolences and said that China strongly condemns terrorism and firmly supports Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts, and hoped that the Pakistani side will conduct a thorough investigation, reveal the truth, bring the perpetrators to justice and take effective steps to protect the safety and security of Chinese nations. CG Yang hoped that the media community plays their positive role in strengthening the counter-terrorism momentum of the Pakistani society and completely eliminating the threat of terrorists.
