On 6 August 2024, Acting Consul General Zhang Hao met with Chinese Director Zhang Xiaoping and Pakistani Director Dr. Muhammad Nairuddin Khan of the Confucius Institute, University of Karachi(CIUK).

Acting Consul General Zhang Hao spoke highly of the positive efforts made by the CIUK to promote people-to-people and cultural exchanges between the two countries, and said that the Consulate General is willing to continue to play the role as a bridge to help the two institutes cooperate in the fields of Chinese language teaching and personnel exchanges.

Both Directors thanked the Consulate General for its support and assistance to the CIUK, and said that they would make joint efforts in the work of the Confucius Institute, promote high-quality development of Chinese international education in Pakistan, and contribute to the mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries.
