On September 26, 2024, the Chinese Consulate General in Karachi, together with the Chinese Association of Karachi and All-Pakistan Chinese Enterprises’ Association（APCEA）Karachi Branch, jointly held a celebration for the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Consul General Yang Yundong, along with over 100 representatives of the overseas Chinese and Chinese enterprises in the consular district, attended the event.

Consul General Yang and the leaders of the Chinese Association of Karachi、APCEA Karachi Branch, delivered speeches, congratulating the motherland on its 75th anniversary. Consul General Yang also introduced the key spirit of The third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, praised the local Chinese community and Chinese enterprises for their significant contributions to promoting Sino-Pakistan exchanges and cooperation, and urged Chinese Association and Chinese institutions and projects to enhance security measures, actively assume social responsibilities, and inject more momentum into the continued development of Sino-Pakistan relations and the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
