Chinese Consulate General in Karachi organized a media conference “Meet the Media on China at 75” on November 27, 2024. Consul General H.E. Yang Yundong and more than 70 representatives of eminent scholars and media from the consular area attended the event.

CG Yang reviewed China's economic and social development achievements over the past 75 years and introduced the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. CG Yang stressed that China will continue to build into a strong country and advancing national rejuvenation on all fronts through Chinese modernization, be committed to promoting world peace and development, and firmly advance China-Pakistan cooperation. CG Yang hoped Pakistani scholars and media could tell good stories and make positive reports.

Pakistani scholars and media expressed deep admiration for the time-honored Chinese civilization and the achievements of New China's construction, saying that Pakistan should learn from China's development experience and wisdom to promote their economic and social development. Pakistani media will carry out in-depth China-related reports to enhance the correct understanding of China from all walks of life in Pakistan and create a advantageous atmosphere for Pakistan-China cooperation.
