On December 19, 2024, The Chinese Consulate General in Karachi hosted a symposium with Sindh universities, Consul General Yang Yundong attended and delivered a speech. More than 20 well-known universities including National Institute of Management, University of Karachi, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University and Aga Khan University, as well as some experts and scholars attended the symposium.
CG Yang reviewed China's educational achievements and spoke highly of China-Pakistan educational exchanges and cooperation, stressed that China will continue to promote practical cooperation between Chinese and Pakistani universities in various forms, further promote exchanges between the young generation of the two countries, and train more talents for bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields.
Pakistani university chancellors, vice-chancellors, experts and scholars all spoke highly of China's development in education and thanked China for its strong support to Pakistan in the field of education over the years. They look forward to strengthening cooperation with Chinese universities in academic research, teacher-student exchanges, Chinese language teaching, integration of industry and education, vocational training and other aspects, drawing on China's experience, and continuously promoting Pakistan's education and economic and social development.
