On December 30 and 31, 2024, Consul General H.E. Yang Yundong met with vice chancellor of ILMA University Prof. Dr. Mansoor uz Zafar Dawood and vice chancellor of Federal Urdu University of Arts, Sciences and Technology Prof. Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari.

CG Yang said that education cooperation is an important part of the all-round practical cooperation between China and Pakistan, which is of great significance to promoting the economic and social development of the two countries and deepening people-to-people exchanges. The Consulate General is willing to play an active role as a bridge to promote cooperation between universities of the two countries in training exchanges, academic research and Chinese language teaching, so as to help build an even closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future.

The vice chancellors spoke highly of China's major achievements in cutting-edge science and technology and expressed their willingness to give full play to their own advantages, strengthen communication and exchanges with Chinese universities and promote practical cooperation, provide talent support for the high-quality development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, promote exchanges between the youth of the two countries and continuously consolidate the ironclad friendship between Pakistan and China.
