Consul General H.E. Yang Yundong met with the Governor of Balochistan Shaikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail on January 14, 2025.

CG Yang said that China-Pakistan friendship has won wide support from people of all walks of life in Pakistan, Balochistan Province plays an important role in promoting the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor(CPEC) and the development of bilateral relations, and there is great potential for the two sides to carry out in-depth cooperation in various fields. China is willing to continue to strengthen exchanges with all sectors in Balochistan, continue to carry out livelihood projects benefiting the local people, and actively contribute to economic development and improvement of people's livelihood in Balochistan, and hope that Balochistan Province can balance development and security, and take more practical and effective measures to create a safe environment for bilateral cooperation.

Sheikh spoke highly of Pakistan-China relations and said that the people of Balochistan firmly support Pakistan-China friendship and the construction of CPEC, and hope to learn from China's development experience, strengthen bilateral cooperation in education, fishery, mining and other fields, and join hands to promote high-quality development of CPEC. Balochistan province will make efforts to coordinate all forces and spare no effort to ensure the safety and security of Chinese projects and personnel.
