On 2 March 2025, Consul General H.E. Yang Yundong met with President of The National Party of Pakistan, also the former Chief Minister of Balochistan Mr. Abdul Malik Baloch.

CG Yang said that China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic cooperative partners. Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari paid a successful visit to China a few days ago and leaders of the two countries have pointed out the direction for bilateral cooperation in the next stage. China emphasizes that China-Pakistan cooperation is always oriented towards and benefits all Pakistani people, and China stands ready to continue to support economic development and improvement of people's livelihood in Balochistan. We hope that The National Party will give full play to their influence, make greater contributions to the development of China-Pakistan relations. We expect the Pakistani side takes more effective measures to ensure the safety and security of Chinese nationals in Pakistan.

Mr. Abdul Malik Baloch said that Pakistan-China friendship is rooted in the hearts of the two peoples. People of Balochistan appreciate China's long-standing support for the development of Balochistan, and look forward to China's implementation of more livelihood projects in Balochistan to promote the development of local agriculture, fishery, animal husbandry and other industries. The National Party attaches great importance to the safety and security of Chinese personnel in Pakistan, admires the achievements of the Communist Party of China(CPC) in governance, and is willing to learn from China's successful experience to promote the in-depth development of bilateral relations.
