On March 4, 2025, Consul General H.E. Yang Yundong met with Sindh Home Minister Mr. Zia Ul Hassan, Sindh Home Secretary Muhammad Iqbal Memon, Inspector General of Police Ghulam Nabi Memon, Additional Inspector General of Police Counter Terrorism Department Imran Yaqoob Minhas and other law enforcement officials of Sindh Province attended.
CG Yang introduced the recent development of China-Pakistan relations, spoke highly of the law enforcement and security cooperation between the two sides, and stressed that Chinese Consulate General in Karachi is willing to continue close communication and coordination with the Sindh Home Department and Police to effectively ensure the safety and security of Chinese personnel, institutions and projects, creating a sound security environment for exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in various fields.
Zia Ul Hassan said that all sectors of Sindh Province attach great importance to developing relations with China and always take the safety and security of Chinese personnel, institutions and projects as a top priority. Home Department will actively coordinate with various law enforcement and security forces in Sindh to ensure the security of China's interests and safeguard the in-depth development of Pakistan-China ironclad friendship.
After the meeting, the two sides held a ceremony for the handover of police supplies donated by Chinese Consulate General to the Sindh police.
