On March 19, 2025, Consul General Yang Yundong met with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
CG Yang introduced the major achievements of China’s National Two Sessions and stated that China will continue to advance Chinese modernization through high-quality development, creating more opportunities for the world. China is willing to work with Sindh government to implement fruitful outcomes reached during the recent visit of President Asif Ali Zardari to China, and to promote interaction and cooperation in economy and trade, regional affairs, people-to-people exchanges and political parties between China and Pakistan, thereby enhancing in-depth development of both sides. We hoped that Sindh government will strengthen its efforts in taking effective measures to ensure the security of Chinese personnel, projects and institutions in the region so as to foster a sound environment for cooperation between the two countries.
Murad highly praised the remarkable achievement of Chinese modernization and stressed that Pakistan People's Party has long been attaching great importance to developing relations with China. Sindh government will actively implement the outcomes of President Zardari’s visit to China, take all necessary measures to ensure the security and safety of Chinese personnel, projects and institutions, and further deepen cooperation with China, especially in Sindh province, thereby solidifying the iron-clad friendship between China and Pakistan.
