Chinese Consul General in Karachi Yang Yundong Meets with Delegation of Experts and Scholars from Sindh

On April 18, 2025, Chinese Consul General in Karachi Yang Yundong met with a delegation of experts and scholars from Sindh who were about to visit China.

CG Yang introduced the spirit of the Central Conference on Work Related to Neighboring Countries, highlighted remarkable success achieved in pursuing Chinese modernization, and elaborated on China's position on tariff issues. With strong resilience and vitality driving its economic and social development, China possesses the capability and confidence to address various risks and challenges. CG Yang hoped that the delegation should take this visit as an opportunity to deeply experience the rich connotation and profound practices of Chinese modernization, and actively present an open, inclusive, authentic, and multidimensional image of China to Pakistani society.

Members of the delegation stated that the Chinese model provides valuable experience for Pakistan. They will make full use of this visit to learn, enhance their understanding of China, and act as a bridge to promote correct perception of China among various sectors in Pakistan through concrete actions, thereby strengthening the ironclad friendship between the two countries.

The delegation, consisting of professors and experts from multiple universities in Sindh Province, is scheduled to visit Beijing and Shanghai.
