On November 1, 2025, Consul General Yang Yundong, met with Balochistan fisheries delegation upon their return from a visit to Guangdong Province.

Consul General Yang congratulated the delegation on their successful visit to China, exchanged views on fisheries cooperation and related fields, and expressed China's willingness to strengthen practical cooperation with Pakistan to support local industrial development and improve the livelihood of people in Balochistan.

The Pakistani delegation shared their impressions from the visit, highly commending China's remarkable economic and social progress, and expressed hope to learn from China's modern fisheries technologies and industrial management models to promote fisheries development in Balochistan—especially in Gwadar and surrounding areas—and to increase local fishermen's incomes.
