On November 20, 2025, the Consulate General in Karachi held a trilateral meeting attended by Deputy Consul General Zhang Hao, relevant officials from the South District Police of Karachi and the SPU as well as representatives of the Chinese Association of Karachi. The three parties engaged in in-depth discussions on Pakistan's security situation, security concerns of Chinese personnel, and Pakistani law enforcement procedures.

The Chinese Consulate General and representatives of the Chinese Association commended the longstanding efforts of the Sindh police in safeguarding the safety of Chinese citizens in the region. They expressed the hope that the police would attach great importance to China's security-related suggestions, improve working methods, focus on broader interests of China-Pakistan friendship, ensure the safety of Chinese nationals, and continue to foster a safe, stable, and predictable business environment.

The Sindh police stated that they would give full consideration to China's concerns, further refine security measures, make every effort to address security risks and challenges, ensure the safety of Chinese personnel and institutions in Pakistan, and continue to strengthen the iron-clad friendship between the two countries.
