On April 7, 2026, Consul General Yang Yundong hosted Nehal Hashmi, the Governor of Sindh, at the Chinese Consulate General in Karachi. The two sides spoke highly of the progress made in the China-Pakistan All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, and had an in-depth exchange of views on promoting practical cooperation between Sindh and China in the next phase, focusing on areas such as the blue economy, agriculture, education, and youth exchanges.
